Hybricon’s Quality System
February 2009, Hybricon Corporation achieved the AS9100 Aerospace Quality standard System Certification. At the same time, Hybricon fulfilled all requirements to achieve an upgrade to our long-held ISO9001 certification, and is now certified to the ISO9001:2008 revision of that standard.
AS9100 was designed to enhance ISO9001 by focusing on additional, more rigorous expectations and requirements. These qualities are essential to ensure product, process and service safety, reliability and quality. Hybricon's commitment to quality is evidenced by the high ratings received from critical customers for excellent product quality and precise delivery.
Paul Freve, President of Hybricon Corporation stated:
“This achievement demonstrates a higher level of service pertaining to performance, timely delivery and quality that our customers can depend on. We are very excited and proud to have attained this certification and join the ranks of other well-recognized organizations such as Curtiss-Wright, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman.”
Gary L. Powell, NQA-USA representative/auditor, noted in his assessment:
"Hybricon Corporation is a very well organized small company with competent employees to manage both the AS9100B and ISO 9100:2008 implemented standard as well as meet customer requirements."
Hybricon
achieved this milestone by designating a dedicated, cross-functional quality improvement team whose mission was to implement and maintain AS9100 certification.
