Key Account Manager
The Key Account Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and is responsible for identifying new sources of business and selling cost effective solutions to our customers. This position includes:
- Establishing and expanding relationships with key executives and decision makers.
- Creating business opportunities by understanding and identifying customer's requirements and developing strong relationships for their current and future needs.
- Understanding the industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets.
- Acting as the point of contact for ongoing customer program management, implementation and follow through.
- Assisting in designing and recommending sales programs to fit customers needs with short and long-term objectives.
- Understanding competitors' strengths and weaknesses and effectively presenting Hybricon's competitive advantage to our customers.
- Use of technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customer decisions, and assist them in applying and developing Hybricon's products and services to meet their needs.
- Traveling effectively and efficiently 50% of the time.
Required Strengths:
- Experience developing strategic Key Account Partnership Plans for accurate forecasting.
- Ability to develop strong internal and external business partnerships.
- Ability to effectively communicate customer's requirements to the product development team for service enhancements and new product requirements.
- Experience developing cost effective solutions that impact our customers' bottom line.
- Success in exceeding sales goals and objectives.
- Skilled problem solver and negotiator. Special emphasis on closing sales.
- The ability to work independently and work in a cross-functional team.
- Skilled multitasker with organizational ability and follow through.
- Excellent understanding of Strategic & Conceptual Selling methodologies.
Required Experience:
- Two or more years of experience in the Electronic, Printed Circuit Board or Electronic Packaging industry.
- A BS degree and a minimum of 5 years sales experience.
- Demonstrated track record of success.
- Previous industry experience selling similar products and services.
- Experience with time management techniques.
- Experience in the Military, Telecom, Industrial and Medical markets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and excellent written skills.
- A strong sense of urgency, initiative and drive to get things done correctly.
