Electro Mechanical Assembler
Excellent and challenging opportunity for the right candidate to work on a variety of electro/mechanical assemblies.
Required skills:
- Able to perform standard and complex assembly of electronic hardware, cabinets and enclosures, according to written procedures, drawings, and established workmanship standards.
- Able to build cable assemblies and wire harnesses. Capable of performing modifications to wiring diagrams for prototype units.
- Able to use measurement tools (scales & Vernier calipers) as well as assembly tools (pneumatic).
- Able to perform product testing under engineering supervision.
- Able to perform rework, test power supplies under load, monitor controllers etc.
- Able to interface with Engineering and Quality Assurance regarding assembly requirements, workmanship standards and customer product specifications.
- Provide technical assistance to lower level assemblers
Required Experience:
- High School Diploma required. Relevant college courses desirable.
- Five years of electronic experience with familiarity of sheet metal and enclosure design for electronic equipment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with experience producing highly accurate output.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, industry and customer specific performance requirements and specifications.
- Experienced in maintaining safe work practices
- Able to lift 30-40 lbs.
